They've worked really hard on it, clocking in hours after training sessions as a team to construct their solar panel car. Instructor Patrick Cobb, took it upon himself to deliver a challenge to the mentors by asking them to use an egg as a passenger. The challenge was eagerly accepted!
Launch Day Results:
Lauren E., Phillip K., and Jasmine N.'s solar panel car was the fastest but their egg was cracked.
Gabriele J., Sabrina H. and Jade H.'s solar panel car was the slowest but their egg did not crack.
This morning, Gina Anselmo lead an Interests Exploratory workshop. She introduced resume building techniques, discussed about the importance of networking and got the high school and college mentors to engage in social skills activities.
